Orin's broad range of professional experience allows him to bring a unique perspective and approach to the representation of his clients. During his 30+ year legal career, he has represented a variety of clients in the design and construction industries and other sectors.  

Prior to founding Ketyer Legal & Risk Management Services, Orin served as General Counsel to an international engineering firm for over 7 years. In this capacity, he performed various legal and risk management services including:

• Contract drafting, contract reviews and negotiations services
• Legal advice and strategic guidance to Project Managers during the course of projects
• Development and maintenance of risk management protocols and contract templates
• Training seminars on topics such as contracts, best practices, negotiation strategies and risk avoidance

After graduating from Brooklyn Law School in 1989, Orin worked as a litigator for a major insurance company in its Construction Claims Unit representing general contractors, trade contractors, private owners and design professionals. In 1998, Orin joined a regional law firm and became a Partner in its Design Professionals Practice Group, defending architects, engineers and land surveyors against claims brought by developers, contractors, municipalities, City and State agencies, school districts and higher education institutions, construction workers and private owners.
